However, for instance if you were downloading a mod from a website, make sure you download the mod manually to your very own desktop rather than mod manager. You will want to go to the top left of the mods tab and find install from a file, this is where you will find the mod that you saved. Once you have navigated through all your files to find where you have saved your mod, then double click it or open it and it will be saved onto Vortex.
This will also download the mods from your desktop that you saved previously. You will want to locate what mod you want to use and on the right-hand side of the mods name you will find an install button, you will want to click this. Once it is done click enable, check the plugin section as well to make sure that has all been done correctly. The last thing to do is check in game to see if the mod is working perfectly. Our staff will never disable the button unless the author is providing an installer for the mod.
More often, the mod authors themselves would disable the button for one reason or another - please clarify this with the mod author. Wikt0ri0 , are you using FireFox by any chance?
